BENEFITS OF SHARING PART OF YOUR STORY

If your family or friends are aware that you had a bariatric or metabolic procedure, this will create an environment of greater empathy around you, which will help you achieve your goals. We know that patients who hide their procedures from family or friends will have more resistance to change and improving habits. Sharing your story, experiences, moments, situations or other experiences during your process before and after the procedures WILL HELP other patients who want to know more about the process. In addition, it will give more weapons and security to those who have already had it done. You will also benefit from seeing testimonials from other patients during their process.

WHAT SHOULD I SHARE?

If your selection is for the regular cost program, you can share what you want, or even not share anything, that will depend on you. If you have selected the reduced cost program, you will be required to share part of your story as follows.

You will be asked for some videos and photos before surgery. Our team will contact you with details. You can take photos and videos with your cell phone quickly and easily, you don't need to invest a lot of time in it. The team that will collect your photos and/or videos will contact you 3 to 5 times in the first year, then 2 to 3 times in the second year. You will send him some photos or short videos regarding your progress. During your stay in the hospital or consultations, some photos or short videos may be taken. Sometimes our advertising team may ask you to go to your home, workplace, or other place to conduct an interview. Our advertising team will adapt to your times and spaces. See details.

You grant authorization so that the video and photographic material obtained can be published on the website, social networks and media, as well as authorization to transmit and retransmit the content. Material that may be sensitive to the general public WILL NOT BE PUBLISHED. For example, scantily clad videos or photos, or personal testimonies that are addressed with the obesity health team. If you request not to publish any specific material, the request will be taken "de facto", and without further explanation, what you directly request will be carried out.

If you apply for the reduced cost or supportive program you will be provided the following consent form at the hospital which you will be asked to sign before your surgery.
